A model at a fashion show at a small shop in Agra on Tuesday.
The store sells clothes for Rs 10 to Rs 12,000.
The shop, which sells clothes under the name Vibhavam, is owned by Ravi Bhattacharya and his son Akshay Bhattagharya.
He is the founder of the store.
The model was wearing a dress by a local brand called Alwa.
Akshey Bhattakharya is the owner of the shop.
A big difference between the model and Akshaya Bhattahary is that he is a Muslim.
“My family and I have a deep connection with Islam,” the model said.
“My family is Hindus and we respect them,” said Akshayan Bhattahar, the owner.
“I have been with them for 25 years.
I have no issues with them.
I would never be against anyone.
They (the owners) have done nothing wrong.
I do not feel any hostility.”
Akshay and Ravi had met several years back at a conference organised by the Indian Association of Fashion Designers.
The couple were discussing their designs.
Aiyaji Bhattasharya, a fashion designer, said the two decided to take up the same project.
“I have met Ravi several times.
He was the one who approached me to do this project.
I did not know what to expect.
I thought it was just a fashion competition,” he said.
